Story for me is a big thing and not just running through the game without any deaths that just makes it boring. The story is why i like bioshock and alan wake so much.

yes, that is true. However today's games are require more action and a better graphics so people can buy it.

that is also very true; for they are elements that are, for most games, necessary. tongue

smile same thing with counter strike you can find many good mods and the main part you don't have to spend extra money.

Well to be a big market game in my opinion the games graphics doesn't matter to me but it does to a lot of people. It is still nice to have good graphics though. Like resident evil 4 has okish graphics but its still fun, same for professor layton.

All games seem to have a visual style, depending on the setting/story/etc. and that makes them all different. I suppose different people have different preferences and likes/dislikes.

Team Fortress 2 has become the prevalent game in my collection over the last year. It was released by Valve in 2007 along with the Orange Box, and was made Free-to-Play in June 2011. It is highly team-based and all the game mechanics work wonderfully as in the balance of player classes and weapon/item damage/accuracy/effects. It certainly doesn't appeal to the average person that judges it by looks, but it shouldn't be judged (although I must admit, it has some strange stuff). TF2 is a lot of fun and stands out as a very unique title in the vast field of FPS games.

It's kind of what you mentioned, _stalker_. There are many mods available such as servers and maps that offer different gameplay experiences, like CSS has. If I had to explain the game in terms of it's community, I would say it is run by the players. We all keep the gears turning by buying Valve's stuff, and by using the ingenious trading and crafting system to trade our stuff. And who doesn't like hats? SO MANY HATS!

There's my exposition concerning this great game. It means a lot to me and it's greatness inspired me to write about it as such. I know it may seem corny, but I always look forward to playing it, mainly because of the players I am always around.
